The clean drinking water project that is being done in Arbawayo kebele was visited ------------------------------------- Sunday: July 15/2018 (Jile Tamuga Communication) Jile Tamuga district chief and sector officials visited Arbawayo Kebele and toured the clean drinking water project being built under the 3R-CACE project.
During the visit, they evaluated the project's work performance and the challenges faced.
It has been stated that the project which was started to provide clean drinking water to more than 3,052 members of the society in Arbawayo Kebele is being carried out according to the planned schedule.
Thus, it was pointed out that the district administration is working to solve the community's water problem in a sustainable way.
According to the plan, it is planned to dig a 200-meter deep water well, and it is said that water purification works are being carried out at a depth of 150 meters.
When the potable water project is completed, it is estimated that it will have a high capacity of 40 to 50 liters of water per second, which will cover the water needs of the residents of Kebele to a great extent.
Head of Jile Tamuga District Water and Energy Office Mr. Hussain Mohamed said that the project has great potential to fundamentally solve the water problem of the local community and is being worked on with attention.
The official added that the excavation and screening works are in good progress.
The chief administrator of Jile Tamuga district, Mr. Ali Syed, after seeing the work of the project, directed that the remaining works of the project should be completed in a short time, and the construction of distribution lines and storage tanks should be carried out.
