Bete Health Center conducted a 12-month performance for the 2018 fiscal year ----------------------------- Sunday: July 08/2018 (Jile Tamuga Communication) Bete Health Center in Jile Tamuga district conducted the 12-month performance and fourth quarter evaluation of the cluster for the 2018 fiscal year today.
Ali Adam, the head of the health center, presented the 12-month performance report to the participants.
As the head stated in his report, encouraging works have been done in the 2018 fiscal year, especially in maternal and child health, malaria prevention and control, and health insurance performance.
He added that in the budget year, underperforming activities should be evaluated and changes should be made.
In the report, the performance of maternal and child health services, logistics provision, tuberculosis treatment, cervical cancer screening, HIV prevention and treatment, blood pressure and diabetes tests are presented.
In addition, malaria prevention and control, trachoma disease, health insurance coverage, health center transformation (woreda transformation), as well as health information management performance report were presented and discussed together.
Mr. Jamal Hasan, Malaria Prevention and Response Case Team at Jile Tamuga District Health Office, mentioned that the support and monitoring activities carried out by the cluster during the fiscal year are encouraging. Therefore, Jamal urged that we should work with determination to bring about better changes in the next fiscal year by jointly identifying the areas of work where there is a gap in performance and putting solutions.
On the other hand, the staff of the health center discussed the performance reports submitted and expressed their strengths and promised to improve the activities that were underperforming in the fiscal year in a short period of time.
After the completion of the 2018 performance review, the institution's 2019 fiscal year plan was discussed and a consensus was reached to prepare and present the plan by holding joint discussions until July 15, 2018 to review the plan in detail.
Finally, it is known that the health center staff and cluster health extension experts, including Jile Tamuga district health protection office officer Ato Jamal Hasan and the office officer Mrs. Banihan Abebe, participated in the evaluation forum.
